The author, Richard Siler, is a former Miami Dolphins and Texas A&M alum, that has shown a flair for creative writing since childhood. He was born n Miami, FL and educated in Daytona Beach, where he became the #1 tight-end in the country.

Chronic disappointment stemming from a career ending injury led him to a life of substance abuse and criminal mischief which landed him on the mean streets of Miami 24 credits short of a Bachelor's degree in Education.

Eventually the life-style would lead to prison, which is where this book was born.

At the time of this novel's completion, through the grace of God, the author has been blessed to successfully defeat both substance abuse and recidivism long enough to complete ths novel, which is his life long ambition.

He would like to dedicate this body of work to everyone in the world that has ever suffered a set-back, said they could come back and then fought to do so.
